Property NSW Busking Hub
Property NSW recognises that Sydney has a strong tradition of busking and that buskers contribute to a sense of place in public areas.
Property NSW aims to encourage opportunities for performances that add to the colour and life of the public domain, including buskers who contribute entertainment and thought-provoking experiences for visitors.
Busking is regulated in order to ensure that public space and stakeholder amenity is preserved, while ensuring the safety of both the public and artists. Property NSW must also ensure that its assets are maintained and not damaged during performances or by performers.
By issuing permits which have special terms and conditions attached, ensures that busking provides safe entertainment for visitors in public areas.
Before applying for a busking permit, make sure your act complies with the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Busking Policy.
